Tommy Jenkins opened up Thera Massage in Evanston, his hometown. He soon realized that the majority of his client base was north of Evanston, and so he moved his business up to Wilmette. His new location has a referral affiliation with a gym in the upper floor of the building. Since opening Thera Massage, Tommy has always sought out Soma graduates since he can be sure of their professional training and ability.

Recently, Tommy was elected to the board of directors of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce. This has given him a forum, which allows him to speak about the benefits of clinical massage therapy. Tommy is also the exclusive massage therapist for the Northwestern University Women’s Tennis team, the No. 1 ranked team in the country in 2009. Some of his other higher profile clients include a number of classical musicians from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
